Have you ever heard of The Antiquary? It is one of Scotland’s oldest brands, originally established in 1888, but until recently, it had fallen out of the spotlight. That is changing, thanks to Tomatin. Three new whiskies from this brand have been released.
In 1996, Tomatin acquired the rights to The Antiquary. Now, 28 years later, this has led to a revival of the brand. Three new expressions have been launched: a 15-year-old, a 21-year-old, and a 30-year-old whisky.
A New Era for The Antiquary Whisky
Scott Adamson, blender and global brand ambassador for Tomatin, is very pleased: “The blends have had an unusually long maturation period, using casks that impart a lot of character to this exciting new era for The Antiquary.”
Each whisky bottle comes with new packaging featuring a more contemporary look
